Bio pic 2024.jpg

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #136025) under the supervision of Jane DeWilde (LMFT #107315). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art from California State University, Long Beach. From there, I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Flash technique. Flash technique is a method of quickly reducing distress related to memories that can help ease the reprocessing of those memories.

As a compassionate therapist, I collaborate with clients to create an approach that aligns with each person’s unique experiences and problems. Individualizing treatment to fit one's needs, I incorporate EMDR, Multicultural Feminist, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness along with others. I assist clients to develop an understanding of their presenting concerns, identify their strengths and resiliencies, and develop
effective strategies to use as they explore how thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences influence them and their relationships with the people and things they love. The goal is to help clients not just survive, but thrive.

I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of ages (7 to 63), cultural backgrounds, and genders in transitional living shelters, outpatient settings, and private practice. I have experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that is comfortable and productive for the client.
